Automotive & Transportation Facility | Cambridge Air Solutions

COMMERCIAL GARAGE HEATERS & HVAC

An HVAC solution for transportation buildings—such as bus transits, boat storage, airplane hangars, etc.—usually requires a mix of ventilation and commercial heating technologies to meet industry requirements, while also providing good indoor air quality and comfort for your employees.

Automotive HVAC systems for transportation facilities, such as auto part centers or commercial garages, has even more complex approaches in ventilation and heating systems designs to meet national and company standards.

HVAC systems for all types of these auto and transportation buildings also need to be customized with consideration of external components including climate, geographical location, national regulations—not to mention internal factors such as building design, company priorities and policies.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT HVAC SOLUTION FOR AUTO & TRANSPORATION BUILDINGS

When you need to exhaust existing indoor air within your garage or automotive facility, our make-up air unit is an ideal choice. Designed to “make up” air in an interior space, these units are designed for situations that require frequent replacement of the indoor air, such as commercial garage ventilation applications. Additionally, make-up air HVAC solutions pull in fresh, tempered air from outside your transportation building or commercial garage to replace existing air that cannot be recirculated. These solutions are especially beneficial in buildings where environmental conditions warrant a greater need for ventilation to improve the quality of air within the building and protect the health of those inside.

Using environmentally friendly HTHV energy efficient heating technologies is a proven way to save energy, reduce air pollution and improve IAQ. Discharge air from the S-Series commercial & industrial space heater provides fresh, warm air flowing throughout the building which eliminates higher ceiling temperatures and uncomfortable drafts. The S-Series Heater utilizes 100% fresh air to dilute contaminants generated within the building. This virtually eliminates air quality problems associated with infrared heaters or conventional air heating systems that just recirculate indoor air.

HEATING & VENTILATION

When you need to exhaust existing indoor air, a make-up air unit is an ideal choice. Designed to “make up” air in an interior space, these units are suitable for situations that require frequent replacement of the indoor air, such as commercial garage ventilation applications. This type of HVAC solution pulls in fresh, tempered air from outside your transportation building or commercial garage to replace existing air that cannot be recirculated. These solutions are especially beneficial in buildings where environmental conditions warrant a greater need for ventilation to improve the quality of air within the building and protect the health of those inside. Our M-Series line of MAUs provide the necessary exhaust replenishment, additional ventilation or tempered air cooling requirements that some manufacturing facilities may need to meet IAQ compliance standard or employee comfort requirements.

Our S-Series and SA-Series lines of HTHV products range in BTU capacity from 250,000 to 3,200,000 and are the most energy efficient manufacturing facility and factory heating solutions available. The use of 100% outside air from these units also provides the ability to meet the ventilation needs of ASRAE 62.1 during occupied hours or straight ventilation during the non-heating seasons.

EVAPORATIVE COOLING

Air conditioners have not been a good option for cooling commercial and industrial premises, as capital and operating costs of these units are often extremely prohibitive. This is particularly true when cooling large spaces with high ceilings, which pose significant problems for design and for installation.

Commercial and Industrial evaporative cooling from our new ESC-Series and E-Series enables firms to gain cooling benefits without adverse effects on the environment. It has become imperative for firms to adopt sustainable practices for their production and HVAC operations, to mitigate risks of environmental pollution.

The E-Series will be a direct evaporative only cooling unit with 10 different models that range from 10,000 CFM to 80,000 CFM. The new semi-custom ESC-Series will utilize indirect, direct or two stage evaporative cooling with options to add Energy Recovery, Gas Heating, Hot Water Heating, or DC cooling. We offer 14 different models that range from 2,450 CFM to 58,800 CFM. Both lines are available as a roof top or a pad mount installation, and have several filter options, discharge options, voltage options, Mixing Box options as well as many other options to meet customers’ needs.
